Columbia College Athletics logo makeover contest

Scooter without a logo

Here’s your chance to put your stamp on history.

Contest extended until Feb. 15!

Athletics would like to invite you to participate in the official Columbia Cougars Athletic Logo Makeover contest!

On the heels of the recent Columbia College brand launch, the next step is to redefine and modernize the current Columbia Cougars logo.

The years have seen many changes in Athletics:

  • 1973 – 1984. The mascot was the Centaur.
  • 1985. The mascot changed from the Centaur to the Cougar and the logo created was the silhouette of an outlined cougar above the word “Cougars.”
  • 2000 – The current logo was created, a triangle with a superimposed cougar head.

The winner of the contest won’t just put their stamp on history. They’ll win an iPad.

Entries are due Feb. 15. Go to for more information.

The winner will be announced in late February.

Good luck!
