Campus located in California’s San Joaquin Valley has served military and civilian learners since 2001.

Columbia College–Lemoore will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Friday, August 26 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Oasis Club. Dr. Gerald Brouder, president of Columbia College, and Mike Randerson, vice president for Adult Higher Education, will be in attendance and Dr. Brouder will give remarks at 12:45 p.m. Capt. Eric Venema, Naval Air Station Lemoore commanding officer, will also provide remarks.

The campus was established on Naval Air Station Lemoore, located in California’s San Joaquin Valley south of Fresno, in 2001. NAS Lemoore hosts the Navy's entire west coast fighter/attack capability and is currently the Navy's largest master jet air station.

Betsy Quade, campus director, says, “This campus has grown and thrived during the past decade as more service men and women and civilian learners recognize that Columbia College’s flexible schedules and online courses work for them. The military or working lifestyle is not an easy one, so we do what we can to fit education into our students’ schedules.”

Quade previously served as academic adviser for the Lemoore campus. She has extensive experience in higher education, having worked with education students in the Teacher Credentialing Program and other undergraduate programs at Chapman University College and held the position of district tutor coordinator for five years in the West Hills Community College District, Coalinga, Calif.

Quade received her bachelor's degree in psychology and a California Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential from California State University–Fresno. She obtained her master's degree in education from Chapman University.

Columbia College–Lemoore offers three on-campus associate degrees (Associate in Arts, Associate in General Studies and Associate in Science in Business Administration) and five bachelor's degrees in fields in demand (Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in General Studies, Bachelor of Arts in Human Services, Bachelor of Science in Management Information).
