St. Peter's Basilica

The Jane Froman Singers are renowned for their globetrotting concerts, having performed at the Great Wall of China and in the great cathedrals of Austria and of Scotland— so where are they traveling this spring?

Hint: it's a place they speak Italian and eat a lot of pasta.

That's right, Nollie Moore and the Jane Froman Singers will tour Italy from March 23-April 1. And you can follow their adventures in Rome, Florence, Venice and Milan with daily posted blogs, pictures and concert recordings.

The Singers will be leading mass at St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City, among other performances. St. Peter's has the largest interior of any Christian church in the world and is generally regarded as the greatest of all churches of Christendom.

With its thousands of other Roman, Renaissance and Baroque monuments, Italy is considered one of the most beautiful countries on earth, and you'll get a first-hand account of all the wonders the Singers see and hear.

Another well-known Columbia College personality, Scooter the Cougar, will accompany the Singers. Be the first to identify where Scooter appears while in Italy and win an Italian prize chosen by the choir.
