Columbia College goes to the ballpark

Cougars night under the stars at Busch Stadium in St. Louis

Come root, root, root for the home team at Busch Stadium Sept. 27, 7:15 p.m., unless you're from Pittsburgh.

Columbia College is sponsoring a night game against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Monday, Sept. 27 at 7:15 p.m. The college’s Marketing department is offering a great double play: ticket and a T-shirt for just $20. Add $1.50 for T-shirts in sizes XXL or above. Everyone is invited! You don’t have to be part of the Columbia College family to attend.

College president Dr. Gerald Brouder will throw out the first pitch, and the Jane Froman Singers under the direction of Instructor of Music Nollie Moore will lead the crowd in "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." Our mascot, Scooter, may also make an appearance!

The Cards girls will also shoot 200 Columbia College T-shirts from their air cannons, and the college's kiosk in the family pavilion will be giving away koozies, Columbia College collector trading cards and more during the game.
