A total of 176 golfers in 44 separate teams competed at the Columbia Country Club in early June. The long drive winner was Dan Bingenheimer, a 6'9" former forward for the University of Missouri-Columbia Tigers, earning a $50 gift certificate to Shiloh Bar & Grill; Frank Classens was closest to the pin on hole 11 earning a $250 watch compliments of L.C. Betz Jewelers; and Bob Hutton, Columbia College executive director of Administrative Services, won a $30 certificate from Bambino's Italian Café for deft sixth-hole play.
