Columbia College was recently ranked No. 22 in Diverse Issues in Higher Education's "Top 100 Undergraduate Degree Producers 2007." The ranking looks at the number of bachelor's degrees granted to African-American students in business management, marketing and related support-services fields. The college also placed 89 out of the top 100 colleges granting bachelor's degrees in all disciplines to African-American students.
The Diverse ranking is based on 2005-2006 data for all Columbia College campuses. The college awarded 355 bachelor's degrees to African-American students during the 2006-2007 academic year.
